Oriented to Bachelor, Master and Doctorate students
3 courses in a friendly environment for enjoying mathematics.
In this program, an intensive 5-day course which will be held at the University of Cagliari on "Theoretical and numerical analysis of differential equations and their applications" at the undergraduate and graduate levels will be offered, prepared by professors from the University of Cagliari and partner universities. This project aims to deepen the study of differential equations, both from a theoretical and numerical perspective, with particular attention to solving problems in scientific and engineering contexts as focusing on the analysis of differential equations applied to real-world models.
After the online part, the School will be held physically in the University of Cagliari. It will consist of three courses where theoretical lectures will be given and numerous examples, and exercises will be reviewed. The courses will be complemented with lectures where local and invited professors will stimulate the curiosity of the students, stowing recent research topics related to analysis of differential equations.
Participants are required to attend both online and physical courses.
Participants who complete the course will receive 3 ECTS credits. Evaluations for students interested in credit recognition will be based on daily attendance to the school.
